CLINICAL RESEARCH
Co-Investigator in Phase IIa clinical trial on critical limb ischemia,(JTCS-002) {Randomized Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Dose Escalation Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of JVS-100 Administered by Direct Intramuscular Injection to Cohorts of Adults with Critical Limb Ischemia}.
Assisted in the following trials:
Stem Cell therapy (sponsored by the Directorate of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science, Govt. of India) : Multi-centred, randomized trial to determine the safety and efficacy of addition of autologous stem cell transplantation derived from peripheral blood, as compared to the standard therapies in the management of patients with non-reconstructable chronic critical limb ischemia of the lower limbs.
Einstein and Einstein extension study: To determine whether Rivoroxaban is at least as effective as enoxaparin/VKA I the treatment of acute symptomatic DVT without symptomatic PE for the prevention of recurrent venous thromboembolic events.
RECOVER AND REMEDY:Â Â Phase III, randomized, multicentre, double-blind, parallel-group study of the efficacy and safety of oral dabigatran etexilate compared to Warfarin for the 6-month treatment of acute symptomatic venous thromboembolism, following initial treatment with a parenteral anticoagulant approved for this indication.
A Phase 2, Randomized, Open-label (with blinded Plasminogen Activator and Placebo control groups): To evaluate the effects of different intrathrombus infusion regimens of Plasmin (Human) compared to Plasminogen activator and placebo in patients with Acute lower extremity native artery or bypass graft occlusions
